The Laudato Si Movement and Trócaire are calling on members of our global Catholic community to ensure that those responsible for their financial investment portfolios do not continue to invest in the fossil fuel industry. In raising awareness of the negative impact of the fossil fuel industry on our environment and their contribution to global climate change, they are asking Religious Congregations, Orders and Societies who have divested or are in the process of divesting, to please join their next global announcement, just prior to Earth Day on April 22nd.
