Don Bosco Care are seeking support with accommodation for young people who arrive in Ireland as separated children seeking international protection. Don Bosco Care receive referrals from TUSLA and support these young people in resettling and integrating into Irish society. All of the young people are in education, some are sitting their leaving certificate this summer and one is doing a PLC course in engineering. The placement with Don Bosco Care is temporary. The young people are required after a year/18 months to exit support. Some of these young people are coming to the end of their time with Don Bosco Care and are desperately seeking suitable accommodation in order for them to continue to focus on their studies and build the future that they deserve. Without suitable accommodation the young people will need to be a discharged to homeless services.
