AMRI Annual Conference & AGM 2024

Members of AMRI (Association of Missionary and Religious Leaders of Ireland) gathered for a two-day conference in Tullamore. The Conference, ‘Seeds of Hope – in a changing world’ was led by Dr Kieran O’ Mahony OSA, Scripture Scholar and Author. Almost 200 Religious representing various Congregations, Missionary Orders and Contemplatives, explored the themes of Being Faith Leaders in an Increasingly Divided World, Jubilee 2025 and Synodality. Fr Tim Lehane SVD, President of AMRI thanked everyone for attending and taking part in many of the AMRI initiatives throughout the year. He acknowledged the contribution that the Executive Council does on behalf of all its members. On  the second day Bishop Michael Router, auxiliary bishop of Armagh, brought greetings from the Irish Bishop’s Conference. The final day the key focus was on the topic of Synodality.
