Strategic Review of Child Safeguarding in the Catholic Church in Ireland

In 2021 the Irish Episcopal Conference (IEC) and AMRI commissioned a consulting firm called RSM to carry out this independent review.
The purpose of the review was to ascertain the extent to which the most effective and efficient structures and services are in place regarding child safeguarding across Catholic church ministries in Ireland
The report is for IEC and AMRI to ensure best practices continue to be in place.
The conclusions and recommendations of the Report will be carefully considered by both bodies in the new year. We thank everyone who took the time to contribute to this review.
