AMRI Delegation Meet Pope Francis For St Brigid’s Day
AMRI were delighted to accompany the exhibition Daring to Hope – a social history of the contribution of Irish sisters over the past 100 years.
The Exhibition was hosted by the Irish Embassy to the Holy See. It will also go to UISG for the weekend. Sec Gen Gerard Gallagher spoke to Pope Francis with Sr Louise O Rourke PDDM who has assisted AMRI over the years. Toni Pyke JPIC AMRI also spoke to Pope Francis about the exhibition with Sr Denise O Boyle. Grateful to the Irish Franciscans in St Isadore’s, Rome. Ambassador Collin’s hosted a reception for members of the Irish Religious Community to mark St Brigid’s Day. Some members of the Diplomatic Corp were there too. Vocations Ireland, Margaret Cartwright will attend the exhibition in UISG.
